Gary W. Beecham, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor in the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics. He trained as a statistical geneticist under Dr. Bruce S. Weir and develops statistical methods for genetic association to complex disease. His interests include imputation methods, copy number analysis, and multiple testing problems. Dr. Beecham is involved in studies of Alzheimer disease and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
