Liyong Wang
Liyong Wang, PhD , is a Research Assistant Professor of Human Genetics. Dr. Wang is a molecular biologist with extensive training in mapping susceptibility genes for complex diseases. Her research has focused on discovering novel susceptibility genes and pathways for coronary artery disease. She has research experience in high-throughput genotyping, genome mapping, positional cloning, transcriptional regulation of gene expression, and characterization of gene structure and function.
