DNA DAY 2010

  
 
The Hussman Institute for Human Genomics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, along with the Miami Science Museum, will host National DNA Day Saturday, April 25 from 10am-4pm. For children ages 4-14.  The event is free and open to the public!

National DNA Day commemorates the successful completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003 and the discovery of DNA's double helix by James Watson and Francis Crick in 1953. This annual celebration offers students, teachers and the public many exciting opportunities to learn about the latest advances in genomic research and explore what they may mean for their lives.
