Summer InternshipThe JJ Vance Memorial Summer Internship in Biological and Computational Sciences is awarded three rising seniors in good standing at a Miami-Dade area High School. Family and friends of JJ Vance, who was a student at East Chapel Hill High School at the time of his death, established the program. The recipients of the internship will participate in an exciting but challenging 8-week research course at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine working with faculty and post-doctoral fellows at the Hussman Institute for Human Genomics. A stipend of approximately $200 per-week and Metro-rail pass is provided for the eight-week period. Click here for more Information>> |
